Shun Hing Electric Works and Engineering Co., Ltd. (1976) Shun Hing Electric Works and Engineering Co., Ltd. (SHEW) was established in 1976 to market Matsushita Electric's non-consumer products. In 1993, in response to surging demand from the construction industry, the engineering contracting and service departments of SHEW were spun off to form a wholly owned subsidiary company: Shun Hing Engineering Contracting Co., Ltd. In line with international sales strategies for Matsushita industrial products, two joint venture companies were duly established in 1994: Panasonic Shun Hing Industrial Sales (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. and Panasonic SH Industrial Sales (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. The two companies were mainly to take over the business of the former Industrial Sales Division of SHEW. Since then, SHEW has been successfully promoting such brands as Panasonic, Rasonic, KDK, TEKA, etc., with a product assortment ranging from consumer products to building service materials and power-generation equipment. Due to changes in the environment, SHEW has successfully developed new products and services which comply with safety regulations, conserve energy-conservation, are clean-air atmosphere and environmental-friendly concepts in, protect the environment, promoting healthy living and improved quality of life for the majority of people. SHEW thus not only promotes Panasonic products but also leverages its Rasonic brand by sourcing more quality products from mainland China and Taiwan and other Asian as well as European countries to satisfy Hong Kong market needs. Such products include microwave ovens, refrigerators, washing machines, dehumidifiers, and other electrical home products. As a responsible corporate citizen, SHEW management considers an enlightened staff to be a company¡¦s valuable asset. Management thus stresses on-the-job training for staff.
